Both of us – Wayne and Hilary Strube – at Therapy Nexus have 7 years combined experience in training people in the utility of the IDEO. While working with the elite military population we have been able to treat just about every injury imaginable. Also, with this experience comes our extensive network of contacts who we can call on to consult with about any condition.
Many civilian Dynamic Orthotic patients we’ve spoken with have gone to see a PT and have received subpar care or even been turned away because their PT did not understand or know how the dynamic orthosis works.
As physical therapists, we are movement specialists. This along with our experience in the IDEO population make us the best there is to train anyone in the use of a dynamic orthotic. It is crucial to develop your biomechanics under the specialized eye of an experienced physical therapist. Developing the muscle memory needed in order to acquire the biomechanics to sustain proper habitual movement takes more than a few days. The 4 week program is imperative to learn how to use the dynamic orthosis to its fullest capacity.
